HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS!

It was Grandma Peart's annual Christmas party last night. Santa always comes and all the kids get new pajamas. Alyssa wouldn't have anything to do with Santa but after Zach sat on his lap she decided to sit on his lap. Zach was a pretty good boy considering he is getting over croup that he was lucky enough to catch from Alyssa. She had it last weekend, we were sure we would end up in the ER with her 104 F fever that wouldn't go down. She is feeling better. But sure enough Sunday night Zach had a fever and was barking. But it seems like he has a less severe case of it and is feeling better. Thanks to our 3 doctor visits in one week and lots of Decadron.

HAPPY 6 MONTH BIRTHDAY!!!!

Zachary is 6 months old today.

He is growing up so fast. It seems like he was just born yesterday, then it also seems like we have always had him. He is such a joy to have in our life. Jason, Alyssa and I are so lucky to have such a sweet little boy.The last 6 months has reminded me how much work it is to have a new baby, but then it has also reminded me how wonderful it is to have a new baby.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

GIVING THANKS.....

We are so THANKFUL for our darling children. Alyssa is always saying or doing something so funny. She loves to help with everything that she can get her hands on. That includes taking care of Zach. She loves to read, dance and sing to him. Zach is the happiest baby and loves to be in the center of everything, he thinks that he might miss out on something. He keeps his eye on Alyssa at all times just in case she does something that he should laugh at. We are so lucky to have each other and our sweet children.

SHE CAN SEE.....

After receiving a letter from the school nurse saying that Alyssa failed the eye test at school. I decided to take her to the eye doctor even though she just went about one and a half years ago. Then she had perfect vision and now she has 20/100. She is pretty blind! I feel bad that she has been walking around not being able to see. Jason and I always made fun of her because when we would see something in the car and tell her to look at it she would say she couldn't see it. Then of course we would just laugh. Little did we know she wasn't lying!

She was crying at the eye doctor saying she didn't want glasses and no one in her class had them. Sandee our friend works at the optical shop, she helped Alyssa pick out the cutest glasses. She told Alyssa they would be done in a week and Alyssa has driven me crazy asking me when they would be done. So in the end she loves them and can't believe she can actually SEE!

I had this great idea before Zach was even born that Alyssa would be a pirate and Zach would be her parrot. But of course Alyssa had to change her mind and not be what her mom wanted her to be that would have been to easy! So she ended up being a witch and Zach was a giraffe. (Thanks to Gavin) They are still darling though. In the end Alyssa's best friend was a pirate and then she wished she would have been one too.

ALYSSA'S 2ND TOOTH IS MISSING!

Alyssa was running around the kitchen and ran into Jason. And once again I was the one to pull out her tooth. But this time Jason got a little queasy and needed to sit down. (what a sissy) She was pretty excited that she had lost another tooth and was a little nervous she would look a little gappy and funny.

But she looks so cute♥

This time the tooth fairy brought her $10 which she was pretty excited about!

HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY BABE!!!!!

For Jason's Birthday we had poker night at our house. All of Jason's friends came and I hope that they had a good time. Thanks to Gary we had a good teacher since some of us needed a little help(mostly me)Thanks to everyone that came we need to start a regular poker night.(Hopefully all the girls will play next time so I am not the only girl playing) By 3:30am Jason and Justin were still playing and decided to split the pot. WOW!! They are rich the pot was an amazing $50.

ALL IT TOOK WAS AN APPLE....

After months of having a loose tooth it finally came out with a little help. Jason has been telling her that if she eats apples it will fall out in the apple. All I could think was "sure have you really ever heard of someones tooth falling out in an apple?" I swear that is a myth. Well Alyssa was eating an apple Friday night when she came down stairs and sure enough it had moved. Since I have worked for an Oral Surgeon for 2 years I decided that I was ready for my first tooth extraction!

After a year of Jackie my BFF driving me crazy about starting a blog, I have finally given into the pressure. I should have started before Zach was born so it could have started with all the cute baby pictures of him. Here I go hopefully I can learn to do this, but I already know my blog will NEVER EVER be as cute and fabulous and Jackie's but thanks to her I can try!
